Manon Bannerman gave fans a significant update on Wednesday as she continues her hiatus of KATSEYE.
The singer posted on the fan page Weverse and expressed gratitude to the fans who were patient.
“Thank you so much for all the love and support you've been sending my way,” the 23-year-old crooner penned.
Continuing, “I'm really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported."
The Tonight I Might stated that she is happy and healthy, noting that "I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Around the same period, some fans had noticed that Bannerman changed her Instagram bio, and she had removed mention of KATSEYE.
Now it says a personal artistic phrase, “mademoiselle manzanita.”
The hiatus was initially declared on February 20, in an announcement on the group official X account.
It mentioned that Bannerman would take a break to concentrate on her wellbeing and health.
The group claimed to be in full support of this decision, news follows as KATSEYE prepares to release a new version.
The band has just released the opening preview of the music video Pinky Up, which is the first time they have released music since Bannerman resigned.
The group of six gained their fame after the Netflix competition show Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.
In January, the members performed at PEOPLE following their two Grammy nominations in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
At the time, one member Lara Raj, 20, said that “When we found out, we were all in tears, screaming, crying.”
