Anna Kendrick reacts to ‘A Simple Favor’ co-star Blake Lively's legal drama

Anna Kendrick chose to stay silent on her Another Simple Favor costar Blake Lively's lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

During her red carpet appearance at the March 7 premiere of the new movie, Kendrick dodged questions about her co-star’s growing crisis.

“How does it feel like the movie is being impacted by everything happening in the world?” a reporter asked her during the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival, referring to Lively’s on going legal battle with her It Ends with Us director and costar.

Kendrick, 39, looked puzzled and replied, “Why, what happened?”

“I did Ayahuasca this past year, so my life is just gone, but I’ve heard the movie is amazing,” she added.

Kendrick steer clear from commenting on Ryan Reynolds’ wife as she returned to the spotlight amid her recent drama.

For the unversed, Lively, 37, and Baldoni, 41, are in a heated legal battle. The Gossip Girl alum sued Baldoni in December with sexual harassment allegations and a smear campaign, which he vehemently denied.

Baldoni hit back his co-star with a countersuit, suing Lively, Reynolds, 48, and their publicist for defamation and extortion.

Since their controversy, The Shallows actress has made few public appearances. 

The Deadpool star's wife recently broke her social hiatus as she attended the star-studded SNL50: The Anniversary Special on Sunday, February 16.

Additionally, at the SXSW premiere Lively reunited with her A Simple Favor (2018) director Paul Feig and co-star Kendrick.
