Fans suspected Joe Alwyn of stealing Travis Kelce’s style at the Oscars
It has been more than two years since the infamous romance of popstar Taylor Swift and actor Joe Alwyn ended abruptly. However, the two names still make headlines despite the former couple remaining silent on each other and their past together.
Joe Alwyn graced the 97th Academy Awards as his film The Brutalist was up for multiple nominations. The Harriet actor was also one of the presenters at the ceremony for the Best Cinematography category.
The British actor arrived in a sharp black coloured tuxedo with a brooch on his lapel that was speculated of having striking resemblance to his former partner Taylor Swift’s current boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce.
The brooch worn by Alwyn was shaped like a gold flower with a ruby-coloured stone along with purple and orange diamond-encrusted stones. The brooch looked similar to the one worn by Kelce back in January.
Swifties had a lot to say on the actor’s look with harsh commentary on his style and taking a dig at his career choices, with one calling him a "Jobless loser".
While the style choice could have been purely a coincidence, it adds layers to the ongoing interest of masses in the singer, athlete and actor’s personal lives.
