Speaking to Sportsbook Review, Carratt explained how Meghan’s presence at the Oscars would solidify her new public image, particularly if she attends without Prince Harry.
"It would show that not only is she focused on building her own brand away from the Royals, especially if she attends solo, but make a statement that she has every intention of reinserting herself back into the world of entertainment in a nod to her past life."
Carratt also revealed that the Academy Awards invited Meghan and Prince Harry to attend last year, but the couple declined due to having "no reason" to be there at the time.
Now, with Meghan’s Hollywood connections and upcoming projects, the red carpet could provide the perfect PR opportunity.
