Millie Bobby Brown is preparing to celebrate one year of marriage with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, in just a few months.
Ahead of their first wedding anniversary in May, the Stranger Things star shared insights into her married life, reflecting on the joys and lessons of marriage.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the red carpet premiere of her upcoming film, The Electric State, Brown expressed gratitude for love, connection, and friendship in her marriage.
"I think it's just taught me how grateful you should be to enjoy connection and love and friendship. I've had, you know, such a joy being able to be married for a year already," she shared.
The actress also marvelled at how quickly time has flown by, saying: "It felt like two seconds. I feel like it's blinked and it's all you know...so I just cherish and hold on to all the amazing moments you get to experience with your loved ones."
During the star-studded premiere, Brown also caught attention for her dramatic new blonde hairstyle. When asked if her look was inspired by her character Michelle in The Electric State, she admitted:
"I went a lot blonder than I did in the film. I've never done this before, but I figured why not."
As Brown continues to celebrate exciting milestones, from her marriage to her latest film, fans are eager to see what’s next for the talented actress.
Brown and Bongiovi first sparked romance rumours in June 2021 and later made their red carpet debut at the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards. The couple tied the knot in May 2024 and now live together on a farm in Georgia.
In a cover interview with Vanity Fair, earlier this month, the Stranger Things star, 20, addressed her early marriage, saying it was a thoughtful and well-planned decision rather than a rushed one.
"We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want," she shared.
"It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him."
