WhatsApp has rolled out the latest feature to manage home screen chat notifications for iOS users. It offers enhanced control to users over how their home screen badge behaves, enabling them to choose between two options to clear the badge count, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

With this significant update, users can now select whether the budget count is reset every time after launching the app or remains unchanged until all unread messages are opened.

Once you enable the option, the badge will only reflect new messages received after the app was last opened. It helps users to focus more on recent conversations.

Moreover, it marks all the chats as read with a single action, simplifying it for users to manage bigger messages without opening each chat individually. This innovative feature was previously launched on Android and is now rolling out to all iOS users.

Previously, Meta-owned WhatsApp released this features to a few users but later disabled them for unknown reasons. Currently, the platform has started to roll out this feature to more beta testers, with plans for broader roll out expected in the near future.

This latest update reflect WhatsApp’s unwavering commitment to offering enhanced flexibility and improved user-friendly experience to all.
