Jennifer Lopez talks about her look for Met Gala 2024 in new video

Jennifer Lopez has made some fashion choices in anticipation of the upcoming Met Gala on Monday, May 6, 2024.

In a recent video shared on Vogue's Instagram page on Wednesday, April 17th, the 54-year-old lead of This Is Me... Now is gearing up for what she calls "the grandest evening in the realm of fashion."

Lopez said of the magazine’s longtime editor-in-chief, “When Anna [Wintour] calls you and asks you to co-host the Met Gala along with her it’s kinda the biggest night in fashion and to raise money for the museum, it was a real honour.” 

While expressing her excitement for the Met Gala 2024, she further exclaimed, "It's a nice thing to be a part of."

The Can't Get Enough expressed her excitement for the upcoming event as she moves back and forth in front of numerous mannequins in the video.

“I have a few different sketches. I’m still deciding,” the actress talked about her met gala preparation with a smile.

Lopez further added, “I’m also one of those people who chooses at the last minute. Like, I like choices, and then I go, ‘Okay, this is how I feel today,’ and then we try to kinda create some type of amazing look — ‘cause that is the night for looks!”

The clip’s caption notes, “the first Monday in May is less than three weeks away!”

The yearly event is always held on the first Monday in May, and J. Lo was named as one of the four co-chairs in February.
