Elisabeth Moss erupted the crowd into loud cheers as she confirmed her pregnancy on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Tuesday.

The announcement comes after host Jimmy Kimmel asked the Handmaid’s Tale star, "Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?"

After taking a moment for a cheerful laugh she replied, "A little bit of both."

The Mad Men actress was asked how’s it going to which she responded, "It’s been going really well," and went on to say that she has been "really lucky."

Moss took the opportunity to ask the host for some parental advice as he is a father of four kids, eldest daughter Katie Kimmel, 32, Son Kevin Kimmel, 30, from his first wife and nine-years-old daughter Jane Kimmel and six-year-old son Billy Kimmel with second wife Molly McNearney.

The comedian shared advice passed on to him and his second wife from Bill Murray when she was expecting one of their two children.

"He said, 'Bring Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room],'" he remembered, adding that Murray also suggested taking battery-powered candles.

Explaining the reason for such preparations he cleared, "Because the lighting is terrible in the room."

"It’s Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that’s going to happen and you don’t want that," he gave a head-start.

The actress kept all the details regarding her baby in the wraps.

The Shinning Girls star was seen caressing her baby bump while comfortably seated on the guest couch.

For the American talk show appearance, she donned a black long dress featuring a plunging neckline.

She added a hint of color with a pair of pink stilettos complementing her figure-fitted dress, from which her baby bump was on full display.
