Bachelor alum Ashley Iaconetti expecting second baby with Jared Haibon

Ashley Iaconetti is expecting baby number two with husband Jared Haibon.

The two, who first met on the sets of Bachelor in Paradise, announced the news on Monday, during an Amazon Live session.

Before the revelation, the Bachelor television franchise former contestant admitted to PEOPLE that she is "overwhelmed as hell" as she is gearing up to welcome the newest addition to her family.

While Haibon, 35, said that they wanted their first baby, Dawson Demitri Haibon, to have another sibling.

"That’s very important. Both of us come from families with two kids. So we wanted to give that to Dawson," he added.

The soon-to-be-parents-of-two first crossed paths in 2015 but did not start dating until May 2018.

The same year both kicked off another season of the Bachelor spinoff series, where Haibon got down one knee and popped the question with a diamond sparkler.

The following year the lovebirds exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony in Haibon’s hometown, Rhode Island, and welcomed their first baby in January 2022.

Following Dawson’s birth, the couple revealed that they chose Dawson’s name due to Iaconetti's love for Leonardo Di Caprio’s character in the 1997 film Titanic and cleared that it’s not named after Dawson’s Creek character, James Van Der Beek.

Later in 2023, the former Bachelor star made a confession on The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast regarding the birth of her son.

She told them that she "had such gender disappointment with Dawson," however, with time she embraced herself as a boy mom, sharing that she would be "happy" if they would welcome another boy.

"Because then I’d want them to have that, hopefully, brother bond," she explained.
