Nicole Kidman remains undaunted amid Amy Schumer drama

Nicole Kidman is not taking Amy Schumer's comments to heart. 

The 56-year-old actress looked absolutely lustrous as she stepped out of the car accompanied by her husband Keith Urban to attend an annual charity day event in New York on Monday.

The Oscar winner was gleaming in her pastel green attire which fit just perfectly on her slender figure. She let her silky blonde hair freely at full length, with baby pink heels and a large green Bottega Veneta handbag her look was uncompromised.

The sighting follows a recent debacle in which comedian and actress Amy Schumer was accused of bullying Kidman by mocking her appearance in her recent Instagram post.

The comedian posted a picture of Nicole sitting at the US Open, goggle-eyed staring straight into the camera to which she captioned it as: “This is how human sit.”

According to Page Six Amy, 42 was implying that Kidman looked 'robotic.'

At present Schumer has deleted the post as she received a plethora of backlash from followers. The fans were really disappointed and upset over the remarks Amy made on Big Little Lies actress’s expression and posture. Some of the comments on the post are compiled by the outlet, included:

“Are you cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman right now,” one follower questioned the comedian.

Other added, “Bringing others down is always a sign of our own internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror.”

Later the I Feel Pretty star took to Instagram to dust the matter off: "I want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien."

"I will be asking the cast of that 70s show to write letters advocating for my forgiveness." She added the hashtag 'taking time to heal.'
