Amber Heard sheds light on new quiet life in Spain

Amber Heard is more than happy to be living her new life in Spain after the actress bowed out of Hollywood in the aftermath of losing her defamation case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

In her first appearance since paying off Depp a million dollars, the Aquaman actress was chatting with paparazzi, in Spanish, and expressed joy in settling down for a more quiet life with her daughter Oonagh.

Amber said: "I'm very happy in Spain, and I hope I can spend more time here. I love living in this country with my daughter, Oonagh."

This development comes hot on the heels of news of her insurance company paying the actor a million dollars to Depp as part of her settlement. 

News of her move first became rife when the actress had sold her Yucca Valley home in California.

After the outcome of her case against the Pirates of the Caribbean star, Heard was no longer a running name in Hollywood, despite confirming that she did not quit acting.

Sources have told Daily Mail that Heard’s bilingualism in Spanish was a telling sign of the actress’s intention to make her move permanent. 

She previously spoke about her new life in Spain in a TikTok video where she said: "I love Spain so much." 

When quizzed if she planned on settling down for good, she responded: "I hope so. I love living here."
