22-year-old actor dies amid surgery to look like BTS Jimin

A young actor has passed away following complications of undergoing a dozen surgeries to look like BTS singer Jimin.

According to Daily Mail, Saint Von Colucci was pronounced dead on Sunday at a South Korea hospital while he was in surgery to remove jaw implants he got last November.

“It’s very tragic and very unfortunate,” his publicist Eric Blake said, adding that his client “didn’t like” his “very square jawline and chin,” as he “thought it was too wide.”

Despite being told the risks of the surgery, Von Colucci went ahead with the surgery and as a result developed a fatal infection.

Von Colucci, who gained recognition for his strive to look like the Filter singer, spent over $200,000 on a total of 12 surgeries in a year, including an eyebrow lift, a lip reduction, a facelift, a nose job, an eye life, and more.

“He was very insecure about his looks,” Blake explained, specifying that Van Colucci was particularly “unhappy” with his face.

“It was very hard from him to get a job in South Korea,” Blake claimed, “and he felt very discriminated against [because of] his Western looks.”
