Avatar 3 gets Official Concept Art from Disney

Avatar 3 is coming soon.

Disney published concept art from James Cameron's upcoming threequel to Avatar more than a year before its debut.

After becoming the greatest theatrical release of all time, James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water has officially arrived in digital stores all across the world.

The third instalment of James Cameron's epic about Pandora is expected to explore new landscapes, such as a "desert" and "polar" zone.

Production designer Dylan Cole hinted that Pandora is "exactly as diverse as Earth" with its various biomes, wildlife, and people in his teaser that the new regions of the fictional planet will feature a wide range of new characters.

Concept art for Avatar 3 was revealed to the public as a part of the special features of Avatar: The Way of Water.

Online posting by a Twitter user The three pieces of concept art for Pandora show off brand-new, unexplored regions for the Avatar series.

The works explore three new areas of Pandora. The first of these features the long-teased volcanic biome that appears to represent the "ash people" of the movie.

Another glance showed a desert landscape with floating rock formations reminiscent of the Hallelujah Mountains from the original Avatar movie.

A polar panorama was teased with what appeared to be two Na'vi on a snow-capped mountain peak at the other extremity of the environmental range.

Avatar 3 is currently in production and is scheduled to open in theatres on December 20, 2024.
