Gwyneth Paltrow and kids: Let’s meet her 2 children and 2 stepchildren

Gwyneth Paltrow is one hell of a mom.

Gwyneth Paltrow is a proud mother and stepmother in addition to being the CEO of Goop, so she has a lot on her plate.

In 2004, the actress and her ex-husband Chris Martin had their daughter Apple. Moses, the couple's son, was born in 2006.

While delaying her "semi-retirement" from the entertainment industry until 2020, Paltrow scaled back her work to care for her and the Coldplay frontman's children.

The Oscar winner had already separated from Martin at that point, which she referred to as "conscious uncoupling," and was preoccupied with building her wellness brand.

When Paltrow requested a divorce in 2015, the ex-couple maintained a friendly co-parenting relationship. The next year, their divorce was legally formalized.

On a January 2023 "Goop" podcast episode, Paltrow joked that having young children might "ruin" a marriage, which provided some context for their breakup.

“It’s hard on a relationship,” she explained. “I’ve looked back now on, like, the data set. … It’s really hard.”

The "Emma" actress wed Brad Falchuk in 2018, who is also the father of two of his own.

Apple Blythe Alison Martin

In May 2004, Paltrow gave birth to a child named Apple.

According to the "Shakespeare in Love" actress, Martin "came up with the" name and she "fell in love with it," she informed her Instagram fans in April 2022.

“I thought it was original and cool,” Paltrow added. “I can’t imagine her being called anything else.”

When Moses arrived in April 2006, Apple became a big sister.

Immediately following the birth of her second child, Paltrow had postpartum depression. In September 2018, she said on a podcast that she "came out" of the baby blues without taking any pills.

“I went to therapy and I started exercising again,” the Golden Globe winner said at the time. “I stopped drinking alcohol and I just gave myself a period of regeneration and I slept more.”

When Paltrow married in September 2018, she became the stepmother to two children.

The Emmy winner’s spouse, Brad Falchuk, is the father of daughter Isabella and son Brody with his ex-wife, Suzanne Bukinik.

Paltrow admitted to having "trepidation" when she first started dating her stepchildren, but she later gave them her “full self as a parent with all the love and all the acceptance and all the boundaries.”
