Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick: Chapter 4 hailed as 'greatest action movie'

Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick: Chapter 4 has been hailed as one of the "greatest action movies ever" after critics shared their thoughts following the initial screening.

The 169-minute movie follows John Wick's, played by Reeves, epic journey to defeat crime organisation The High Table and its new villain Marquis de Gramont in a final act of revenge.

Following the initial screening, Eric Eisenberg, a CinemaBlend critic, took to Twitter to express how the movie "earned" its long runtime.

"It's an epic with smart pacing that never lets the action feel exhausting, and the set pieces are phenomenal," Eisenberg wrote.

"Great cast of series newcomers, but Donnie Yen is the MVP."

Editor of Consequence Liz Shannon Miller expressed that John Wick 4's "three-hour runtime makes so much sense when you're going *that* hard. The third act alone… just glorious."

John Wick 4: Secret screening at 2023 South By South West Festival

Reeves' John Wick 4 is set for a secret screening at the 2023 South By South West Festival.

Multiple sources told Variety that the fourth movie in Reeves' wildly popular series will be part of a "secret screening" at the SXSW Film Festival. 

Sources added that the movie will be shown in Texas at an undisclosed location next week.
