Billie Eilish has hypermobility

The Happier Than Ever singer Billie Eilish opened up about hating herself and struggling with body issues throughout her teenage years and the question remains what exactly is all this called.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Billie spoke about the real meaning behind her track titled My Future. It very much focuses on her relationship with her own self, revealing she has all sorts of complicated feelings about her body.

She explained, "I had too much anger towards my body and following the growth plate injury on my hip I was in lot of pain that changed my life."

''I felt like my body was gaslighting me for years and I took time to accept the fact that it was my own body and I cant get rid of that."

Eventually after dealing with various lower body injuries she then got diagnosed with hypermobility, which is a syndrome where an individual has overly flexible joints, causing them to bend more than they should, which can be painful.

About the same, the pop star's mother, Maggie Baird, had given insights into her diagnosis and said that treatments like massage or chiropractors that were helpful to others could harm Billie.

Billie always had the aspiration to be a dancer which got shattered post her injury and so was forced to replace her dance career with music.

However, this is not the first time the singer has spoken about her body, as her style and body image issues have continued to be a topic of interest for quite some time now.
