The actor previously had a committed relationship with Xosha Roquemore, who played Mindy in The Mindy Project. He is now, however, taking model Kasmere Trice's interest more seriously.

Just a few months ago, the pair made Instagram their official account. Unexpectedly, the singer of Sorry To Bother You has already proposed.

His partner revealed on Twitter on Friday (December 30) that a proposal made this year's birthday particularly special.

“Yea… I’m having the best birthday,” she tweeted yesterday, posting gorgeous pictures of the ring and a photo of the couple out and about. “My baby made me Mrs. Stanfield for my birthday! #LaKeithAndKasmereForever.”
