Chris Rock discusses the 'greatness' of Chris Farley.

The late SNL costar's "warmth" is remembered by Chris Rock, David Spade, and Dana Carvey, and Rock says he still wonders what Farley would have accomplished if he hadn't overdosed on drugs at age 33.

Chris Rock is aware of the legacy that Chris Farley, a comedic legend, has left behind.

In a planned two-part tribute episode on David Spade and Dana Carvey's podcast Fly on the Wall, Rock remembers how funny Farley was back when he was a Saturday Night Live cast member.

"The thing about Farley was, I never felt that competition thing everybody talks about," Rock, 57, says in the preview, which Entertainment Weekly posted firsthand.

"It was a very competitive environment but no one was competing with Farley."

Farley is even compared by Rock to a different trailblazer. He compared the late comic to NBA legend Michael Jordan, saying, "It was just like he's Michael Jordan, and give him the ball."

"Literally, [I] never had one bit of like, 'Hey, this guy doesn't write sketches. Why is he in everything? Hey!' None of that," Rock adds. "None of, 'Why is he in nine sketches and I'm in one?' 'Cause he's better than you, that's why."

Farley "had a way of stepping into funny, like it was just on his shoe," continues Rock, adding how he acted like "he didn't know how he got there." The Grown Ups actor also talks about Farley's "warmth."

"He's un-hateable and he's this guy that he's just always himself, in a good way," he says. "He didn't really have to get into character or anything. He was just f------ funny."

Farley, 33, passed away in December 1997 after overdosing on drugs. Although the comedian starred in notable movies including Tommy Boy and Airheads, he is best remembered for his five seasons as a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1990 to 1995.
