A TikToker who looks just like the pop sensation Selena Gomez is taking over social media as fans cannot believe they aren't the same person.
The platform is home to a slew of celebrity lookalikes, some of which are so convincing that fans have wondered if they aren’t actually incredibly convincing deepfakes.
Apart from the most prominent doppelgangers one lookalike grabbing all eyeballs is that of the It Ain't Me singer.
To unwitting viewers, this could be Gomez’s secondary TikTok account — but it’s definitely not. Instead she is a content creator by the name of babywiering and is racking up over a million views with her latest post.
In the clip what fans could see was babywiering dancing to the mashup of Heartless by Kanye West and the Weekend in a mini skirt and crop top, giving some viewers pause, as the only difference between the TikToker and Gomez is her short hair.
However, the public was quick enough to react, "You look more like Selena Gomez than Selena Gomez," commented one.
While another asked, "WHAT IN THE SELENA GOMEZ IS GOING ON HERE?"
