Top Gun: Maverick gears for release on Paramount+: Here's when

Top Gun: Maverick has found itself a home.

The Tom Cruise starrer is all set to premiere on Paramount+ starting Thursday, Dec. 22.

The sequel to Top Gun was released in May 2022 and grossed a whopping amount of $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office.

It also became the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time.

According to the official film synopsis, Top Gun: Maverick follows Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, played by Cruise, as he returns to train “a detachment of graduates for a special assignment after 30 years. Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past and his deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who choose to fly it.”
