Red Velvet Wendy treated rudely by Singer Lee Jin Hyuk?

Singer Lee Jin Hyuk has come under fire for his rude speech and actions towards Red Velvet's Wendy on the radio program Youngstreet.

As per ALLKPOP, on September 2, 2022, Singer Lee Jin Hyuk appeared as a guest at SBS Power FM’s show Youngstreet hosted by Red Velvet's Wendy and began to speak in a rude manner to the host.

The idol said to DJ Wendy,"Noona, when I look at the camera, your eyes look like they're gone."

Wendy clarified, "My eyes are very swollen today, so it might appear that way."

However, Lee Jin continued to chase the topic by saying that she "lacks magnesium",  and that her "eyelids [are] trembling."

At one point he also snapped his fingers at her and commented, "Noona, don't lose your focus. Your eyes look so sleepy. I'm getting suspicious."

Netizens didn't take Lee Jin's behaviour lightly and criticised him severely.

They took to Twitter and wrote comments like, "Why is he being so rude to his sunbae? He didn't stop at just once, he kept cutting her off multiple times??"

A second fan noted, "I seriously don't understand what he's even trying to do. It's not funny, and it's just rude. What does her eyes looking sleepy have anything to do with him?"

"I don't get it. They're not even friends as far as anyone knows. What is he trying to say?" another added. 

"Wow, I had no idea he was this rude and unpleasant," another added. 

Red Velvet’s Wendy has been hosting the radio program Since July 12 and it takes turns alternating between several special DJs.
