Meghan Trainor has put out her take on the pose which was pioneered by Nicki Minaj and then attempted by a majority of individuals on social media.
In the original clip from her 2013 music video for High School, the iconic rapper can be spotted sitting with one leg over the other, in stilettoes, and years later the pose has become a viral phenomenon, now attempted by the No singer.
The Grammy award winner took to her social media to show off her toned figure balancing on two dumbbells, hitting the pose in a gym, with a drastic departure from her signature looks.
Meghan donned a black and white tracksuit-style romper, with some socks and sneakers instead of heels, but more shockingly, she debuted her bangs with a long ponytail and toned figure with the plunging attire.
The All About That Bass singer humorously captioned the post, “never again,” but the short clip was met with a tonne of backlash from netizens.
“Congrats. You became everything you sang about in the opposite direction,” one netizen wrote, while another added, “In sneakers? might want to look up the challenge again.”
Meanwhile a third wrote, “Dude.. I did not recognize her at first.. What happened!?” as other users either compared her to Ariana Grande or Paris Hilton.
Yes, Meghan has admitted to getting Botox, a boob job and taking Mounjaro for weight loss.
