Congratulations to the former World No.1 Maria Sharapova, who on Friday announced the arrival of her first child.
The tennis player has been blessed with a baby boy, who she named Theodore.
Sharapova took to her Instagram space and shared a glimpse of her newly born munchkin with fiancé Alexander Gilkes and captioned, "The most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift our little family could ask for."
This five-time grand slam champion also added Roman numerical "VII•I•MMXXII,", marking Theodore's date of birth as July 1st.
On her 35th birthday in April, Sharapova had confirmed being pregnant.
Her fans were in awe after hearing the news and sent best wishes her way, which made the athlete happy.
