Toddlers & Tiaras star, Grinning Girl meme Kailia Posey dies by suicide at 16

Toddlers & Tiaras star Kailia Posey was confirmed to have died by suicide.

Posey, who went viral for the Grinning Girl meme, was 16-years-old and the teen’s sudden passing was confirmed by her mother on Facebook.

"I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever," she captioned. 

The post has since received almost 1,000 likes, while hundreds of messages poured in supporting Kailia’s relatives and friends.

Another posted: "We met K about 10 years ago and just as sweet as can be. We are so very sorry and are uplifting you in our prayers. She was such a beautiful shining star."

Furthermore, the grief-stricken mother spoke to TMZ about the ordeal: "Although she was an accomplished teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately in one impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to end her earthly life."
