Britney Spears, who was scheduled for a arraignment today on Monday, May 4th, might be skipping her appearance in the courtroom.

Previously, her manager spoke with fans and revealed that the pop star would be taking responsibility for her actions and will be making amends.

Now, the update from the reports has suggested that her attorney will be taking her place as she is focusing on getting better as she has voluntarily opted to recover in a substance abuse treatment center.

Notably, the prosecutors charged the singer on Thursday, April 30, after she was first arrested in March.

It is to be noted that the Toxic hit maker was offered a deal called a “wet reckless” plea deal in California.

The offer includes submitting a note in court acknowledging one’s fault as the DUI charge is reduced to a “reckless driving charge.”

As per the information, it was also stated that the note in question will mention that the use of drugs or alcohol was involved.

For the unversed, Britney was arrested on March 3rd after she was found driving her car erratically, and later it was found that she was under the influence.
