Britney Spears is reportedly turning to her loved ones following a challenging time, as her situation begins to stabilize.

As stated by her representative, the 44-year-old singer recently began treatment at a center, following a March 4 arrest in Ventura, California on suspicion of DUI involving drugs and alcohol.

According to People magazine, shortly after, the songstress was seen spending time with her sons, Sean Preston, and Jayden James, in an Instagram video, where she also expressed gratitude to fans.

A source told the outlet that being close to her children has had a grounding effect on her.

"When she's not in a good place, it's almost impossible for her to maintain any kind of steady connections," says the insider.

"She wants to be a good mom though. She really loves Preston and Jayden and listens to them. For Britney, it's amazing that she gets to spend time with them again. It makes her very happy."

Furthermore, the tipster added that the arrest left her “very upset and shaken,” and she later agreed to seek treatment with encouragement from those around her.

According to the official, her sons played an important role in encouraging her to get help, with Preston and Jayden “a big part of getting her to rehab.”

"They've been clear with her," said the source. "They just want her to be healthy."
