5SOS Luke Hemmings is engaged to Sierra Deaton: 'I can't imagine my life without you'

Luke Hemmings from the 5 Seconds Of Summer band proposed to his longtime girlfriend Sierra Deaton earlier this year. The singer took to his official IG handle to announce the big news and shared a series of photographs from one of the most special days in his life.

A source close to the couple confirmed that Luke popped the special question in February in intimate scenery in Malibu, California. The Lie To Me singer penned down a heartfelt caption next to the pictures to showcase his love for soon-to-be Mrs Hemmings.

"With shaking hands but a full heart I proposed to my best friend earlier this year," the guitarist, 24, wrote. "I love you Thao and I can't imagine my life without you @sierradeaton."

In the series, there is a photo in which the large diamond ring can be seen as Luke puts it on Sierra’s finger. In another, the pair are sharing a warm moment with a mountainous backdrop. They both couldn’t look more in love.

Sierra, who was dying to share the news with the world, also posted a couple of pictures of the romantic hillside proposal and said she can’t wait to spend “forever” with Luke Hemmings.

"It was fun keeping this a secret for so long, but my heart is nearly bursting at the seams. can't wait for forever @lukehemmings," she wrote next to the picture.

The two met in 2017 and started dating in 2018. Sierra previously dated Alex Kinsey, and their duo Alex&Sierra became globally popular after their adorable performances in the third and final season of X-Factor US.
