The singer and actress celebrated her special day on Friday by sharing a radiant Instagram video of herself enjoying a sunset drive with the windows down, her hair flowing in the breeze as she smiled at the camera. 

Instead of posting a lengthy birthday reflection, the Maid in Manhattan star paired the clip with a stirring excerpt from Theodore Roosevelt's famous 1910 speech, The Man in the Arena.

The powerful words praise those who keep fighting despite criticism and failure, celebrating people who continue to strive even when they fall short. 

Jennifer added her own simple but inspiring message in the caption: "When you keep going it just keeps getting better."

The birthday post follows a whirlwind month of celebrations across Europe. 

Earlier in July, Anaconda actress wowed fans during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, stepping out in a string of eye-catching designer outfits complemented by sparkling jewellery.
