White House fires back after Alan Ritchson's Epstein comments
Donald Trump's representatives defended his actions while addressing claims over the controversial case
The White House has reacted after Alan Ritchson publicly criticised the government's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Speaking to the outlet, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson defended President Donald Trump, saying,
"Just as President Trump has said, he's been totally exonerated on anything relating to Epstein."
According to Entertainment Weekly, the White House claimed Trump's actions on the Epstein case had done more for the victims than anyone before him.
She further alleged that Democrats Hakeem Jeffries and Stacey Plaskett had not explained their past interactions with Epstein after he was convicted as a sex offender.
It is pertinent to mention that Jackson's remarks followed comments the 42-year-old star made on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he urged the release of the remaining Epstein files.
"The Epstein files? The f---ing Epstein files? Goddammit, where are they? It's a f---ing law, b---h, show it. You f---ing pedophiles," he said.
Moreover, Ritchson argued that making the files public would help ensure those involved are held accountable.
