Cardi B has hit back at critics who underestimate her, insisting there's far more to her than her outspoken public persona.
The 33-year-old singer admitted many people still judge her based on her larger-than-life image, but says she's always had her eye on building long-term succes
After rising from working as a stripper to becoming one of the world's biggest music stars, the Money hitmaker revealed she's focused on making smart business moves that will secure her family's future.
"I don't think people know how savvy I am," she told USA Today.
"People just see Cardi, and she's loud and she's just herself, but I'm very into securing my future."
The rapper explained that her priorities have shifted since becoming a mum, saying her ambitions are now driven by her children rather than herself.
Cardi shares three children with ex-husband Offset and welcomed a baby boy with NFL star boyfriend Stefon Diggs in November 2025.
Her business mindset has already seen her become both a brand ambassador and equity partner in Zevia, the zero-sugar drinks company.
The WAP rapper said she only wants to invest in projects with real growth potential and loves seeing products she's involved with stocked in shops across the country.
Away from business, the Grammy winner is also trying to make healthier choices at home.
While she admits she's not a strict health fanatic, the songstress said she prefers giving her children healthier snacks and drinks where possible, believing treats are perfectly fine "in moderation".
She's also paying more attention to her own diet after turning 30, admitting she still enjoys the occasional plate of chicken wings but now makes a conscious effort to balance her eating habits.
