Taylor Swift fans were conned by a couple Denise Tisor and David Blake during the Eras Tour, landing in hot waters.
It was revealed that the two plead guilty for sales of counterfeit tickets to the concertgoers and making $265K with the fraudulent activity.
In November 2024, the situation unfolded after the fake Eras Tour pass sale which happened at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
Tisor is being described as someone who was trusted in the community which resulted in several fans from Southern Ontario, buying tickets from her.
According to the report, the buyers were not allowed entry in to the event due to the fake passes of the sold-out concerts.
It was revealed in the court documents that the duo invested the amount earned through the sale for “online gambling and cash withdrawal.”
The case highlighted the importance of verifying the authenticity of the tickets before purchasing, holding documentation of all transactions and communications, and take important steps to report any fraudulent activity.
Meanwhile, the Grammy winner and her husband are currently enjoying their honeymoon vacations after holding a massive wedding ceremony in Los Angeles.
The couple tied knot on July 3, making the headlines with the extremely private wedding ceremonies as not much is known about their big day.
