Dua Lipa spotted leaving New York studio: Report

Dua Lipa was photographed leaving a recording studio in New York City as she continues work on new music, while also finding herself at the center of a growing political and environmental debate linked to her Albanian heritage.

The Grammy-winning singer stepped out in a chic street-style ensemble after a studio session, smiling as she made her way through Manhattan. 

Her latest appearance comes as fans eagerly await her next musical project following the success of her Radical Optimism era.

Away from music, Lipa has publicly voiced support for protests in Albania opposing a proposed €1.6 billion ($1.6 billion) luxury resort backed by investors including Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. 

According to Daily Mail, the development, planned for environmentally protected areas around Sazan Island and the Zvërnec coastline, has sparked weeks of demonstrations over concerns about habitat destruction, transparency and changes to environmental laws.

Speaking on her Service95 Book Club podcast, Lipa said she found it "inspiring" to see so many Albanians standing up for environmental protection and questioned the government's decision to remove legal safeguards without broader public consultation. 

Moreover, protest organizers have welcomed her support, describing it as an important boost for the movement.
