The 30-year-old actor showed immense support to France as they get crushed by Spain.

The winning team were able to score 2 against 0, eliminating France from the FIFA World Cup matches before proceeding with the finals.

The Oscar nominee was spotted cheering for the footballers as he held the jersey high for the camera, sending fans in to a frenzy and sparking a debate after they lost.

This came after the Dune: Part Three lead wholeheartedly celebrated the victory of The New York Knicks at the NBA Championship.

Timothee has been a sports person, paying visit to the games and cheering for teams along with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
