Dwayne Johnson turned the Moana live-action premiere into a true family celebration as he arrived on the red carpet in Los Angeles surrounded by the people closest to him.
The 54-year-old Hollywood superstar was joined by his wife, Lauren Hashian, his mother Ata Johnson, daughters Jasmine and Tiana, eldest daughter Simone, plus his former wife Dany Garcia and her husband Dave Rienzi.
The rare blended family appearance quickly became one of the evening’s most talked-about moments, with fans praising the group’s close bond.
Young sisters Jasmine and Tiana stole plenty of attention in matching blue dresses decorated with bold red hibiscus flowers, complete with coordinating hair accessories.
Simone opted for an elegant black midi dress with a thigh-high slit.
The outing marked another special Moana milestone for Johnson’s daughters after they attended the Moana 2 premiere in Hawaii back in 2024.
That appearance became even more meaningful as the girls also voiced two small characters in the animated sequel.
Johnson, also known as "the Rock", has often shared hilarious stories about his children discovering he is the voice behind Maui.
He once revealed that when he tried singing one of Maui’s songs to prove it was really him but daughter Jasmine wasn't impressed.
Instead, she playfully tried to silence him with a pillow, insisting he was "ruining the song."
Thankfully, opinions have changed as The Smashing Machine star later admitted Maui has become both girls’ favourite character, and seeing themselves appear in Moana 2 left them "on the edge of their seats" before excitedly shouting, "That's me!" when their cameo appeared on screen.
Apart from this, there is even more exciting news for Moana fans.
During a recent press event in Rio de Janeiro, Johnson confirmed that a third animated Moana film is already in development, with writers Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller returning to continue the beloved franchise.
