Ariana Grande focused on tour as Ethan Slater moves on quietly

Ethan Slater has made a quiet return to public life following news of his split from Ariana Grande.

Just days after reports confirmed the couple had ended their relationship, the 34-year-old Wicked star was spotted stepping out at Shakespeare in the Park’s Romeo & Juliet performance at The Delacorte Theater in New York’s Central Park on Thursday, June 11.

Keeping things low-key, Slater opted for a relaxed look on the green carpet, wearing a plain white T-shirt, black trousers and white trainers. 

He finished off the outfit with a simple silver chain, appearing calm and composed as he greeted cameras at the event.

The appearance comes shortly after it was confirmed the pair had quietly gone their separate ways after nearly three years together. 

According to sources, the breakup was amicable, with both Slater and Grande taking time to carefully reach the decision.

“They are still friends and very supportive of one another,” one insider said, adding the couple had actually been split for several months before news broke.

While Vought Rising star is easing back into public appearances, the 32-year-old singer, has been fully focused on her career. 

The Zoolander 2 actress is currently on her Eternal Sunshine tour, which began on June 6, and is also preparing to release her new album Petal on July 31.

Sources say she has been “incredibly focused” on rehearsals and reconnecting with fans, describing her as “very happy” and energised by her return to touring after several years away from the stage.

For the unversed, the couple first met on the set of Wicked in 2023, later going public with their romance in 2024, and often supporting each other’s careers despite keeping their relationship largely private.
