Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have finally made major life decision after nearly three years of dating.

A source reveals to PEOPLE that both Wicked stars have quietly ended their relationship several months ago.

After the breakup, the stars appear to be amicable, as an insider notes, “They gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways.”

“They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months,” says a source.

Another insider adds that Ariana has been “doing great” and is now focusing on her Eternal Sunshine tour, which has started from June 6 and even busy promoting her upcoming album, Petal, set to release on July 31.

Ariana and Ethan reportedly first sparked romance rumours in July 2023 after they met on the set of Wicked.

A year later in November, they had made their relationship Instagram official and began appearing together at multiple promotional events for Wicked and Wicked: For Good over the last year and a half.

The speculations started about their dating around late July 2023 at the time when Ariana broke up from her then husband Dalton Gomez. She filed for divorce on September 18, 2023.

Meanwhile, Ethan was married to Lilly Jay from 2018, and they share a three-year-old together at the time. He filed for divorce on July 26, 2023, per US Weekly.
