Jake Short breaks silence on his 'two word' insult for Mika Abdalla

Jake Short has made it to headlines and has angered the online community for his controversial move.

The American actor recently broke his five-year engagement with Off Campus star, Mika Abdalla and now fans are pinpointing moments where he disrespected her.

A moment from 2024 is going viral of the former couple, where he was asked to describe his girlfriend and he chose to say "some bit*h."

Now, addressing the situation, he posted a story on Instagram and penned, "I made a disrespectful, juvenile joke in a clip that recirculated this week."

He added, "It's imperative to me that I take accountability as I am aware that it was inappropriate. It's not representative of who I am or who I was in my relationship,"

This comes after both celebrities released a joint statement, expressing how unexpected this backlash is, and the people are just trying to make a situation out of something which wasn't that big of a deal.

Jake also wrote, "I continue to learn from this situation and work to show people the respect they deserve."

It is to be noted that the pair broke up due to their different goals at this time right now.
