Dua Lipa is reportedly facing local backlash in Palermo during her wedding celebrations with Callum Turner.

According to the latest developments, there are claims she has paid £5,000 to compensate residents affected by widespread city disruptions.

As per Daily Mail reports, two central piazzas were closed off for the multi day event, prompting backlash from some locals, including graffiti reading, "Palermo is not for rent."

Another message spotted in the city read, "It doesn't really match the idyllic love story vibe that Dua seems to be going for."

Moreover, the publisher mentioned, crowd gathered in one square were also moved on by police during preparations, with one resident saying,

"It all seems a bit over the top. We just wanted to see Dua Lipa and wish her well, but police have moved told us to leave."

However, the officials and organisers have not publicly confirmed full details of the reported compensation arrangement.
