Joe Jonas has opened up about co-parenting and the impact fatherhood has had on his life.
The singer made the comments during a recent episode of the Jonas Brothers’ podcast, Hey Jonas!, while responding to a fan question about the most healing aspect of being a parent.
He said, “I’m a single dad and I co-parent with my children’s mother,” Joe said. “And so, um, I think my children have given me purpose again in my life..."
Speaking further about his daughters, he added, “They’ve really given me the reason to be alive.”
The musician also expressed gratitude for his co-parenting relationship with Turner, saying,
“I’m grateful that I have a co-parent that I can balance even the bad days, but I think being able to have good people around me to kind of help me navigate it is really special. I think they’ve taught me that I’ll be okay even in my toughest days.”
Joe and Turner married in 2019 and welcomed two daughters before their divorce filing in 2023.
