Simon Cowell hails Farmers’ Choir as they scoop 'Britain’s Got Talent' crown

The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir have gone from fields to fame after being crowned the winners of Britain’s Got Talent in an emotional live final that had judges and viewers cheering them all the way to victory.

The singing collective, who were backed throughout the competition by Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson, beat off fierce competition to land the coveted title, a place at the Royal Variety Performance and a whopping £250,000 prize.

Their winning moment came after they performed an original song called This Is Home, a heartfelt tribute to rural life that struck a chord with the audience. 

The performance brought the house down and left the judging panel showering them with praise.

Amanda Holden, who famously handed the group her Golden Buzzer earlier in the series, called it “an incredible song” and hailed it as “an amazing performance”.

KSI admitted performing an original track in the final was a huge gamble but said it paid off spectacularly. 

He joked that the song deserved to be released immediately, telling the choir: “Put that on Spotify.”

Alesha Dixon predicted they had a genuine chance of taking the crown, while Simon Cowell declared it was the standout act of the night, praising the group for taking a risk and delivering when it mattered most.

The choir’s remarkable rise has been closely linked to Clarkson, whose Hawkstone Brewery sponsors the group. 

The former Top Gear presenter watched proudly from the audience as they secured their victory.

And it seems this may be only the beginning. 

The choir are expected to feature prominently in upcoming episodes of Clarkson’s Farm, with insiders claiming their growing popularity will bring a much-needed feel-good element to the next series.

For the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir, life is about to get a whole lot busier and a lot more famous.
