Jay-Z did not hold back from adding fire to feud with a diss on Drake after the later released his album ICEMAN.
The 39-year-old singer took aims at several artists from the music world, including Kendrick Lamar after the Not Like Us drama.
At the Roots Picnic, the singer cooked his nemesis by targeting his chart numbers, insisting: “A rapper can’t be my opp.”
The Empire State of Mind songmaker dissed: “I’m up 10, wrong chart champ you gotta look up again, [redacted] looked up to Hov, I never looked up to them.”
The businessman is yet to receive a response from Drake, who is currently facing a setback after dropping three studio records at once.
From his album, Whisper My Name, the One Dance songmaker appeared to be calling out Beyonce’s husband in one of the lyrics.
He wrapped: “I take 500k down to dinner, I never could learn sh*t from none of y’all,” seemingly referring to the infamous meme about the Renegade singer: “Dinne with Jay-Z of $500,000?”
The Hotline Bling made a comeback with the projects and took aim at all those whom he had feud with. However, streamers seemingly did not connect with his music this time.
According to reports, the rapper faced a noticeable decline in his streaming numbers right after the launch of the albums which are composed of 43 songs in total.
