Lindsie Chrisley addresses DUI arrest after release

Lindsie Chrisley got arrested in Georgia and was released only hours later after a number of charges, and the former TV personality has explained the situation.

The former Chrisley Knows Best star was placed in the Cherokee County Jail for DUI less safe, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding.

It is important to note that as per the state law te first charge can be made even if blood alcohol levels are low.

After the incident, the 36-year-old spoke to TMZ and explained the reason for her arrest saying, ““I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.”

Lindsie added that she plans to fight the charge after her bail was set at $1,355 for the DUI less safe, $680 for improper passing, $565 for reckless driving and $2,006 for speeding.

The mother-of-one’s run-in with the law arrived just weeks after her boyfriend David Landsman also faced an arrest on more serious charges of misdemeanor battery and felony aggravated assault or strangulation.

Notably, Lindsie is the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley who were pardoned last May by President Donald Trump amid facing prison time for tax evasion and bank fraud.
