Lindsie Chrisley’s real reason behind leaving family reality show exposed

Lindsei Chrisley has finally come forward to speak the truth behind her sudden exit from her family reality show, Chrisley Knows Best.

For those who do not know, the former TV personality left the show after its fifth season aired in 2017.

After her 2017 exit, the former reality TV star was never seen again on the family show due to a family feud which took place behind closed doors.

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter faced backlash for being responsible for sending her parents to prison.

It was also said that she started acting rudely in response to her presence being minimised in the show, according to Radar Online.

"Lindsie claims she left the show, but the truth is they reduced her filming to a 'friend of the family’ status. She pitched a fit," a source of the outlet revealed.

"Friend of the family" status is a way of saying that she was not going to be a main focal point of the show and would only be included in filming for special events,” the insider continued.

Before all the family drama unfolded, the 36-year-old former star was instructed to "show more of her life and open up," to which she neither agreed nor complied.

"Things were going on in her life that she didn’t want to show, but that wasn’t sitting well with the producers," noted the tipper.

Lindsei was seen making headlines previously in 2024 after her split from boyfriend Trent Weiser after almost a year of dating.
