Angelina Jolie is making her return to the big screen with Couture after stepping away from acting following the 2024 biographical drama Maria.

On Wednesday, May 20, Vertical revealed the first look at the upcoming fashion-centred drama starring the Oscar winner alongside Louis Garrel.

The story follows Maxine, an American filmmaker in Paris. Her life spirals as she faces work pressure, romance, and a cancer diagnosis.

At the Toronto International Film Festival last year, she shared to Variety that how personally connected she felt to the film.

“I feel like it's such a personal film. It felt so private that in my mind, it's probably the one film that doesn't feel like a film,” she said.

Moreover, she mentioned to the outlet, she wore one of her late mother’s necklaces while filming Couture

For the unversed, Jolie’s mother died in 2007 at the age of 56 following a long battle with ovarian and breast cancer.

Directed by Alice Winocour, Couture will release in theatres on June 26, 2026. The cast also includes Ella Rumpf, Garance Marillier, Anyier Anei, and Vincent Lindon.
