Hollywood’s ugliest on-set feud may be over in court, but the drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is still far from finished.

The former co-stars of It Ends With Us have officially settled their explosive legal battle, but fresh court filings reveal tensions are still simmering behind the scenes, especially over legal fees and protections tied to California law.

According to documents reported by People, the 38-year-old actress is continuing to fight for the right to recover attorneys’ fees under a California statute designed to shield alleged victims of harassment or retaliation from defamation lawsuits.

On the other side, the 42-year-old filmmaker and the Wayfarer Studios team strongly disagree.

In a fiery filing submitted earlier this month, lawyers for Wayfarer claimed Blake walked away from her remaining claims “without the defendants paying a cent”, despite previously demanding a staggering $300 million in damages.

But insiders close to the Gossip Girl actress insist money was never the point.

A source said that she only agreed to settle after documents linked to alleged smear campaigns became public.

Adding that she wanted to “expose bad actors” and protect others from similar experiences.

Justin’s camp, however, is calling the settlement a total win.

His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, argued most of Blake’s claims had already been dismissed and insisted the actress dropped the rest because “they knew they were going to lose in court”.

The bitter fallout began after The Age of Adaline actress accused Jane the Virgin actor in late 2024 of sexual harassment and claimed associates linked to Wayfarer Studios launched a smear campaign against her after she raised concerns about behaviour on set.

Justin has repeatedly denied all allegations.

Despite the legal war, both stars recently released a rare joint statement praising the film and its message about domestic violence survivors.
