Latto reveals first baby arrival in heartfelt video: Watch

Rapper Latto, born as Alyssa Michelle Stephens, is marking a major life shift as she prepares to welcome her first child with 21 Savage.

The Grammy nominated artist shared an emotional pregnancy video on Instagram on Monday, May 18, documenting moments from the last nine months of her journey.

The clip featured scenes of the musician's recording music, travelling and spending time with loved ones ahead of her baby’s arrival.

In one moment, she revealed her pregnancy to friends while in Tokyo, saying, “Doesn't feel real does it,” before adding, “I'm pregnant.”

The video also included ultrasound footage, family reactions and clips from her pregnancy journey while working on her upcoming album Big Mama.

“She literally made a whole album in her stomach for you — your mother is the hardest working woman,” one friend said in the video.

Elsewhere in the video, celebrities including Usher and Angel Reese were seen guessing the baby’s gender, which Latto has not yet revealed publicly.

“I was already thinking about naming my album Big Mama, and then I found out about you, and it just — everything fell into place,” she said in a voiceover.

Toward the end of the clip, the rapper shared, “I'm so ready to meet my baby.”

Meanwhile, in 2025, Latto confirmed she was dating 21 Savage following years of rumours and has described him as her “husband” in past remarks.
