Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, was in a legal crossfire for long which intensified in July 2025 and continued into May 2026.
The "King of Pop" left his multi-billion estates to be managed by a private entity for his children called Michael Jackson Family Trust.
After achieving legal victory, her spokesperson revealed Paris’ intention in a statement to TMZ, insisiting she “has always focused on what’s best for her family,” calling this ruling “a massive win.”
Her representative admitted that the victory will ensure the family “gets the transparency and accountability measures” with the efforts from Paris’ side.
In a case filed by the 28-year-old against the estate, she claimed that the executors were wrongfully spending money.
According to court documents obtained, it was ruled that $625K paid in bonuses by the executors “John Branca and John McClain to third-party law firms” are need to be returned to the estate.
Last year, it was reported that the model felt that they gave out amount to “third-party law firms” who have worked on the inheritance without proper approvals.
Her lawyers raised the concerns about the “irregular payments,” highlighting that the move could raise questions on their ability to “effectively supervise counsel.”
This comes as the Michael biopic continues to dominate charts around the world, dethroning Bohemian Rhapsody and becoming the "highest-grossing music biopic of all time."
