Pop star Rita Ora has revealed she’s picking up a rather unexpected new skill, and she’s getting a helping hand from rock legend Ronnie Wood.
The 35-year-old hitmaker says she’s been soaking up advice from the Rolling Stones star, who impressed her with his own musical talent when they recently crossed paths.
And Rita, never one to sit still for long, already has her eyes on her next challenge and that is learning guitar.
Speaking in a recent interview, she said she’s “learning the harmonica” and plans to move on to guitar next, adding that Ronnie “is incredible” and even showed her a few tricks.
For The Masked Singer actress, it’s all part of her constant drive to keep evolving as an artist.
Despite bursting onto the scene 14 years ago with her breakout feature on DJ Fresh’s Hot Right Now, the songstress admits she still refuses to get complacent.
She continues to take both singing and acting lessons, insisting she’s always trying to improve her craft.
Fifty Shades of Grey star also described herself as “very strict” when it comes to work.
When she has performances coming up, she cuts back on socialising and stays focused, saying she genuinely loves the discipline of her job.
Even with multiple acting roles, including films like Tin Soldier and upcoming projects, plus 13 UK top-10 singles under her belt, Rita says she still feels she has “so much to prove” and doesn’t dwell on past success.
Looking ahead, she’s preparing to release her fourth studio album and head out on tour next year.
