Niall Horan addressed how One Direction songs has changed for him since the loss of his pal, Liam Payne.

Payne, passed away on October 16, 2024 after fatally falling off the balcony of a hotel in Argentina.

Horan while promoting his upcoming album, Dinner Party on Rolling Stone, reflected on the last One Direction album, Made in The A.M.

The Slow Hands singer discussed how his perspective has changed about that album.

He said, “You know like Walking in the Wind, after Liam passed away, feels very gruelling at least for the fans to hear that record.”

With shaky voice, the Irish singer added that he hasn’t thought about how grief impact the music and the album, until the host brought it up.

The Too Much to Ask crooner admitted, “Do you know what? I haven’t even thought about that, but I’m glad you brought it up because it’s going to make me go and listen to them now.”

He continued, “I never really thought about it from that perspective, but I can see exactly why, actually.”

Horan also confessed that they all were very sad that they never toured with all those dear songs which existed in their final album.

He further said that he is keen on re-visiting those songs now.

“It’s now gone make me go back and listen to these songs from that side of the aisle and review them from that perspective. That’ a wild thing you’ve brought up.”

Horan’s fourth record Dinner Party is scheduled to release on June 5.
