Anne Hathaway has recently made major move while promoting The Devil Wears Prada 2 movie.
Multiple sources reveal to Radar Online that the Princess Diaries actress appears on the cover of April’s Harper’s Bazaar instead of Vogue for her latest movie, starring alongside Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.
The outlet reported that The Devil Wears Prada franchise was believed to be inspired by Vogue's longtime editor Anna Wintour,
But an insider says that the “talks fell apart” with Vogue as the magazine’s new head of editorial content, Chloe Malle, “wouldn't agree to Anne's terms”.
While The Intern actress never compromises when it comes to her public image, says an insider.
It is pertinent to note that Anne appeared on the cover of Vogue's August 2025 issue, but the insider pointed out now “choosing Bazaar sends a clear message”.
Another source mentioned, “If Vogue won't play ball, she has other powerful options.”
“This isn't just about one cover. It's about control, influence – and who really runs the game,” added an insider.
Meanwhile, Anne has been making rounds on social media for saying “InshaAllah” during her interview with People Magazine.
